 John N. Hauk |
John N. Hauk is a native of nearby Warsaw, Illinois, and a 2000 graduate of Warsaw High School. Mr. Hauk then attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, where he earned bachelor's degrees in economics and political science, graduating with double honors in 2004. Mr. Hauk also completed the Pre-Law Honors Minor through the Western Illinois Centennial Honors College. Mr. Hauk was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity during his undergraduate studies.
Upon graduating from WIU, Mr. Hauk enrolled at Chicago-Kent College of Law. He graduated in the spring of 2007. Mr. Hauk passed the Illinois Bar Examination that summer, and was admitted to the Illinois Bar the following November. He was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District of Illinois, in 2009.
Mr. Hauk joined Capps, Ancelet, Clark, and Rasmussen as a law clerk in the summer of 2007. He was then promoted to associate attorney upon admission to the Illinois Bar.
Mr. Hauk offers legal representation to Capps, Ancelet, Clark, and Rasmussen's clients in many areas of the law.
Mr. Hauk and his wife Lacey reside in Carthage. In his spare time he enjoys running, fishing, and biking. He currently sits as a Board Member of the Carthage Kiwanis Club, the Carthage Chamber of Commerce, and the Prairie Land Conservancy. Mr. Hauk is also a founding member of the Hancock County Young Professionals (HYP).
